We are looking for a motivated, confident, and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective learners, understanding their educational requirements, counselling them about suitable university courses and programs, and guiding them throughout the admission process.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to achieve calling and enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct outbound calls to prospective learners and generate interest in various university courses and educational programs.

- Understand learners’ educational goals, requirements, and preferences and recommend suitable courses/programs.

- Counsel prospective learners and guide them through the course selection and admission process.

- Convert qualified leads into successful enrolments/admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.

- Handle incoming enquiries professionally and provide accurate information regarding courses, eligibility, fees, admission procedures, duration, and other relevant details.

- Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with prospective learners throughout the counselling and admission journey.

- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads through calls and other approved communication channels.

- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly calling, follow-up, and conversion targets.

- Work consistently towards achieving assigned monthly sales/enrolment targets and contribute to overall team goals.

- Maintain accurate soft-copy records of learner information, interactions, follow-ups, and enrolment status.

- Update and maintain the CRM system regularly with accurate lead and follow-up information.

- Coordinate with the relevant internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and enrolment process.

- Communicate learner details, updates, and relevant information to the authorised management/team after completing assigned tasks.





- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

- Build a positive relationship with prospective learners and provide a professional counselling experience.

- Handle learner concerns and queries efficiently and escalate issues to the concerned team when required.

- Follow company processes, communication standards, and reporting requirements.

- Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and sales/admission-related activities as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline is preferred.

- Candidates with experience in academic counselling, education sales, tele-calling, inside sales, admissions, or customer relationship management will be preferred.

- Freshers with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in the education sector may also apply.

- Candidates should be comfortable working with sales and enrolment targets.
