Role & responsibilities

- Execute and supervise electrical installation and construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
- Supervise LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, cables, lighting, earthing and power distribution systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and layouts.
- Coordinate cable laying, cable termination, glanding and testing activities.
- Monitor electrical installation, testing and commissioning of equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with Civil, HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV and other project teams.
- Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity estimates, material requirements and measurements.
- Monitor manpower, contractors, subcontractors, materials and daily site progress.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality of electrical workmanship.
- Coordinate inspection and testing of electrical materials and equipment.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), inspection reports, testing reports and site documentation.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate with consultants, vendors and contractors for resolution.
- Ensure electrical work complies with applicable IS standards, project specifications and safety requirements.
- Monitor preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, where applicable.
- Ensure proper earthing, electrical safety and safe working practices at site.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of electrical materials.




- Assist in project planning, scheduling, cost control and resource management.
- Monitor snag rectification and support final testing, inspection and project handover.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 1018 years of relevant experience in electrical construction, installation and site execution.
- Strong hands-on experience in LT/HT electrical systems, power distribution and electrical installations.
- Good knowledge of electrical panels, transformers, DG sets, cables, earthing and lighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
- Knowledge of electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel; knowledge of electrical estimation and BOQ preparation preferred.
- Positive knowledge of applicable IS standards, electrical safety procedures and project specifications.
- Experience in building, infrastructure, EPC or industrial projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in CPWD, PWD, DMRC, NBCC or other government/PSU projects will be preferred.
- Good coordination skills with consultants, contractors, vendors and other project teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and site management skills.
- Ability to manage manpower, materials and contractors effectively.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel/relocate as per project requirements.
