Job Description Oracle Cloud Functional Tester
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Functional Tester who has hands-on testing experience across one or more Oracle functional modules such as HCM, PPM, Procurement (PRC), Financials (FIN), and Sales (CX). The role involves understanding business processes, preparing test scenarios, executing functional test cycles, and ensuring high-quality delivery of Oracle Cloud implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Documentation
Understand business requirements, functional designs, and configuration documents.
Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases for Oracle Cloud modules.
¢ Identify test data requirements and coordinate data preparation.
¢ Maintain test documentation as per project standards.

2. Functional Testing Execution
¢ Execute System Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and UAT.
¢ Validate end-to-end business flows across HCM, PPM, PRC, FIN, and Sales modules.
¢ Perform impact analysis for quarterly Oracle Cloud updates.
¢ Execute test cases in tools like ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Oracle Test Manager.

3. Defect Management
¢ Identify, log, track, and validate defects.
¢ Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and business teams to resolve issues.
¢ Provide clear defect evidence (screenshots, logs, walkthroughs).

Cross-Module Collaboration
¢ Work with module owners across HCM, Finance, Procurement, Projects, and Sales.
¢ Validate integrations with external systems (ERP, payroll, banking, CRM, 3rd party systems).
¢ Ensure end-to-end testing coverage across upstream and downstream systems.

5. Oracle Cloud Quarterly Patch Testing
¢ Conduct regression tests for each quarterly release.
¢ Validate current features and document changes.
¢ Highlight risks or process impacts to business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Knowledge (at least 23 modules must be covered):
¢ Oracle FIN: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM
¢ Oracle PRC: Self-service procurement, Supplier portal, PO, Sourcing
¢ Oracle PPM: Project costing, billing, resource management
¢ Oracle Sales (CX): Lead-to-opportunity cycle, customer management

Testing Skills:
¢ Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP workflows.
¢ Experience in SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
¢ Hands-on experience in test case preparation and execution.
¢ Knowledge of API testing or integration testing is an added advantage.
¢ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
