Cocoyaya is a leading hookah manufacturing company in India, known for developing and manufacturing premium hookahs and accessories. As part of our expansion plans, we are now entering the Hookah Flavours business and are looking for an experienced and passionate Flavourist to join our team and play a key role in developing a premium range of hookah flavours.

Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Flavourist / Hookah Flavour Development Expert to join our team and lead the development of innovative, high-quality, and commercially successful hookah flavour profiles.

The selected candidate will play a key role in establishing our flavour development and R&D; capabilities while training and guiding our internal team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new and innovative hookah flavour formulations and profiles.
- Create and develop premium flavour combinations for the hookah market.
- Conduct research and development for new hookah flavour products.
- Improve and optimise existing flavour formulations.
- Establish proper flavour development and R&D; processes.
- Train and mentor the internal R&D; and production team.
- Share technical knowledge and best practices related to flavour development.
- Guide the team on flavour balancing,



blending techniques, aroma profiles, and consistency.
- Conduct product trials and evaluate flavour performance.
- Develop premium and internationally competitive hookah flavour products.
- Establish a strong and structured flavour development system for the company's future growth.
- Candidate Requirements

- Experience as a Flavourist, Master Blender, Flavour Developer, or R&D; Professional.
- Experience in hookah flavours, tobacco flavours, shisha flavours, food flavours, fragrances, or related flavour industries will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of flavour formulation and blending.
- Ability to develop unique and commercially successful flavour profiles.
- Experience in training and guiding technical or R&D; teams.
- Strong problem-solving and product development skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to building a professional flavour development team.
