Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager with a background in engineering consulting, EPC, industrial services, construction, energy, M&E;, or related technical project-based industries. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and winning engineering consulting projects across India and the Middle East (GCC).

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across India and GCC markets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, industry events, and strategic account targeting.
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate developers, EPC contractors, industrial clients, facility leaders, utilities/DISCOMs, and procurement teams.
- Understand client requirements and position suitable engineering consulting and technical services.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams for proposals, scope development, and solution positioning.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and client discussions through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Maintain sales pipeline, CRM updates, activity tracking, and sales forecasting.
- Support development of long-term client relationships and repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in India and GCC.

Candidate Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of B2B Sales / Business Development experience in Engineering Consulting, EPC, Industrial Services, Utilities, Construction, Energy, M&E;, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in generating leads, developing a sales pipeline, and closing new business.
- Experience selling technical or engineering services.
- Strong understanding of technical client environments and ability to communicate with engineers, developers, EPCs, facility teams, utilities, and procurement stakeholders.
- Strong English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven / performance-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel across India for client meetings and business development activities.
- Exposure to Middle East/GCC clients or tendering processes will be an advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. Candidates with a diploma/technical background and solid relevant sales experience may also be considered.

Preferred Background

Candidates from Engineering Consulting, M&E;, EPC, Renewable Energy, Utilities, Electrical Contracting, Land Development, or Industrial Technical Services are preferred. Existing relationships with developers, EPCs, industrial clients, utilities, government/PSU organizations, or GCC stakeholders will be an advantage.
