Job Summary:

Senior Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

You will also be needed to document the steps and procedures followed while coding. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow/maintain an agile methodology for delivering on project milestones.
- A strong sense of ownership of the code with an attention to detail.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Maintain documentation of all coding decisions and maintain documentation of the code itself.
- Should possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capabilities to write and execute unit test cases
- Ability to understand and communicate about data, infrastructure, workflow, and solution context technical specifications with the client as well as internal stakeholders.
- Organizational skills, a keen sense of priority and a proven ability to proactively identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills




- Should be familiar with Object Oriented Design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Minimum of 8 years of JAVA development.
- Experience with development methodologies such as Agile & SCRUM.
- Must have solid experience in the following items: Core Java, Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Micro Services , GIT, Hibernate , Design Pattern JPA, PostgreSQL, Azure, Jenkins, Maven.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Working knowledge of version control software such as Git, SVN etc
- Hands on experience with Rest API development
- Strong working experience with J2EE internals such as Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, Resource Management, Multi Threading, etc..
