Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented F&B; Manager to oversee the overall operations of Gopalan Box Bites. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant operations, food quality, customer experience, sales, profitability, team performance, and compliance across the assigned outlet(s).

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in QSR, restaurant, food court, or multi-outlet F&B; operations, with proven leadership and people-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of Box Bites outlets.
- Ensure smooth functioning of kitchen, service, counter and support operations.
- Maintain operational standards, SOPs and service quality.
- Monitor opening, closing and shift operations.

Sales & Business Performance

- Drive sales and achieve monthly/annual business targets.
- Monitor outlet profitability, food cost, labour cost and operating expenses.
- Analyse sales trends and identify opportunities to improve revenue.
- Prepare and review operational and business performance reports.

Food Quality & Hygiene

- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI and company food-safety procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and take corrective actions wherever required.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management.
- Control food wastage,



pilferage and unnecessary expenses.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage and issue of food materials.
- Coordinate with purchase and stores teams for timely availability of materials.

People Management

- Lead, motivate and develop the F&B; team.
- Manage manpower planning, deployment and shift schedules.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees.
- Reduce employee attrition through effective team engagement and development.

Customer Experience

- Ensure high standards of customer service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Maintain a qualified and customer-focused environment.

Compliance & Coordination

- Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations and other departments.
- Maintain proper records, reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and fire regulations.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong F&B; operations and outlet-management experience.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of QSR/restaurant operations.
- Good understanding of food cost, labour cost and inventory control.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, F&B; Management, Business Administration or a related field.
