Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager - MEP to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress control activities for large-scale MEP projects across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, resource planning, project scheduling, progress tracking, cost monitoring, and project reporting.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Government, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, and Infrastructure projects with strong coordination capabilities across Civil, Architectural, Procurement, and MEP teams to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.

Prepare baseline programs, catch-up plans, recovery schedules, and revised execution plans.

Establish project milestones and monitor adherence to planned timelines.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule compliance and timely completion of activities.

Project Monitoring & Controls

Monitor project progress against approved schedules.

Track planned vs actual progress and identify deviations.

Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly progress reports.

Conduct look-ahead planning and critical path analysis.

Monitor project KPIs and suggest corrective actions to achieve project targets.

Resource Planning & Tracking

Prepare manpower histograms and resource loading schedules.

Monitor deployment of engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractor resources.

Plan and track material procurement schedules and delivery timelines.

Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure availability of materials as per project schedule.





Cost Monitoring & Performance Reporting

Monitor project progress versus cost performance.

Track productivity, earned value, project performance indices, and work progress.

Generate MIS reports and dashboards for higher management review.

Support budget monitoring and forecasting activities.

Highlight project risks, delays, and mitigation plans.

Coordination & Interface Management

Coordinate closely with Civil, Architectural, Structural, Procurement, and MEP execution teams.

Review civil readiness and interface requirements before commencement of MEP activities.

Identify dependencies affecting MEP execution and drive closure through stakeholder coordination.

Participate in project review meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Management Reporting

Prepare presentations and executive reports for senior management.

Conduct regular project review meetings and progress assessments.

Present schedule updates, recovery plans, critical issues, and mitigation strategies to management.

Risk & Delay Management

Identify project risks affecting timelines, resources, and cost.

Prepare delay analysis reports and recovery plans.

Support EOT submissions, claims documentation, and schedule impact assessments.

Maintain project planning records and document control systems.
