Roles and Responsibilities

- Plan production activities to meet customer requirements on time, ensuring productive use of resources.

- Coordinate with various functions such as Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations.

- Monitor and control production processes to achieve productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve product planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to manufacturing processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong understanding of Plant Operations, Production Management, Product Planning, Productivity Improvement Techniques (e.g., Lean Manufacturing), Quality Assurance Systems (e.g., ISO).
- 26 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC), preferably in the steel, metal processing, automotive, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of ERP/Tally & EXCEL or other production and inventory management software will be an added advantage.
