Job Summary

Lead the Finance & Accounts function for the Conakry operation, covering financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, treasury, taxation and statutory compliance, audit coordination, internal controls, international transactions and management reporting. The role requires independent ownership of an overseas finance function and close coordination with local professionals, banks, auditors and company management.

Key Responsibilities

- Finalize monthly, quarterly and annual accounts; prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and supporting schedules.
- Prepare MIS, profitability, expense, cash-flow and variance analysis for management decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, working-capital planning and financial evaluation of new projects and business initiatives.
- Manage banking relationships, liquidity, domestic and international fund transfers, foreign-currency transactions and treasury controls.
- Supervise Accounts Receivable, customer advances, Accounts Payable, vendor settlements and supplier ageing.
- Ensure compliance with applicable taxation and financial regulations in Guinea and coordinate filings, statutory payments and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain accounting records and statutory reporting in line with applicable OHADA/SYSCOHADA requirements and reconcile local reporting with internal/group reporting.
- Review cross-border and inter-company transactions, foreign remittances and international payment documentation.




- Coordinate statutory/internal audits, strengthen authorization controls, segregation of duties and financial procedures.
- Supervise payroll accounting, employee advances/reimbursements and the Finance & Accounts team.
- Monitor travel-industry accounting including tour costing, package margins, customer/supplier advances and booking-wise receipts/payments.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); Commerce/Finance/Accounting background preferred. Exposure to international taxation is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts, Audit or Financial Management.

Technical / Functional Skills

- Strong financial accounting, finalization and MIS reporting.
- Budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and treasury management.
- Accounting/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- International and foreign-currency transaction exposure.
- Strong analytical, leadership, risk-management and control orientation.

Language Requirements

- Strong professional English.
- Working knowledge of French is highly preferred for Conakry.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A commercially minded CA who can independently manage the Finance & Accounts function of an overseas operation. Long term commitment for at least 15-18 months.
