Roles and Responsibilities :

- Conduct microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Inspect water systems for contamination and monitor the effectiveness of treatment processes.
- Develop and implement effective microbial control measures to prevent contamination in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate outbreaks or incidents related to microbiological contamination.

Job Requirements :

- 3-12 years of experience in microbiology or a related field (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
- Robust knowledge of microorganisms, their growth characteristics, and the principles of microbiological techniques such as plate counting, PCR, etc.
- Experience with water analysis and testing methods including bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
