About the Role
The Data Analyst role will be a part of Data Insights & Engineering team and play a key role in turning complex commercial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. The Data Analyst will contribute to commercial & operations data and analytics globally but with a focus on APAC & MEA regions. The Data Analyst will be a critical partner to commercial and supply chain teams, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance and operational excellence. This role will take ownership of 3rd Party datasets in the regions, S&OP; analytics, Support CRM with data & processes, and collaborate with the engineering team on building and improving the data platform on Databricks and AWS. As the requirements of the business evolve, the responsibilities of the Data Analyst may change to meet these needs.

Responsibilities
Regional Data Ownership & Analysis:
Own and manage all commercial data and analytics for the APAC & MEA region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility.
Proactively identify data quality issues and work independently to resolve them, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
Deliver ad-hoc analysis and insights in response to stakeholder requests, translating business questions into analytical solutions.
Partner with commercial and supply chain teams to understand their challenges and provide data-driven recommendations.
S&OP; Analysis & Data Management:
Take ownership of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) analytics, shaping the future direction of S&OP; measurement and insights.
Maintain the S&OP; dashboards and metrics that identify risks and opportunities early (Demand/supply imbalances, Forecast Accuracy, OOS events).
Drive continuous improvement of S&OP; data processes and KPI frameworks.
Provide critical insights that enable better inventory management and operational decision-making.
Insight Generation & Stakeholder Engagement:
Proactively surface insights that drive efficiency and performance improvements.




Present findings and recommendations confidently to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, positioning yourself as their go-to data partner.
Challenge assumptions and advocate for data-driven decision-making.
Data Platform Collaboration:
Collaborate with the engineering team on the ongoing migration and development of our AWS and Databricks data platform.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications to support data pipeline development.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet user needs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and tooling.

Rally cross-functional teams when needed to address challenges collaboratively.
Take ownership of delivering data products from ideation through to deployment.

Qualifications
Relevant degree/certifications in Data Analytics or a related discipline.
Required Skills
Minimum 4 years of experience in a commercial data analyst or similar analytical role.
Proven experience working directly with commercial, operations or supply chain teams.
Advanced Power BI skills, including Dataflows, DAX and data modelling.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
Proven track record of independently leading cross-functional projects.
Proven ability to deliver impactful outcomes through effective stakeholder partnership.
Strong understanding of commercial analytics, business performance measures and KPIs.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
Exceptional drive and initiative, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, business-friendly insights.
Proven ability to deliver projects from concept through to completion.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.

Preferred Skills
Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology or life sciences industry.
Experience working in a fast-paced, PE-backed or high-growth environment.
Experience with S&OP; or supply chain analytics.
Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
Python programming skills.
Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain and distribution models.
Experience owning or managing third-party commercial datasets.
Experience supporting CRM data and processes.
Experience collaborating with data engineering teams on cloud data platforms, pipelines and data products.
Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience working across regional and global stakeholder groups, particularly across APAC and MEA.
Experience identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in data processes, reporting and KPI frameworks.
