We are currently looking for GM Accounts & Finance with listed renewable energy company.

Our client is a Gujarat-based renewable energy company with 25+ years of industry experience, specializing in solar EPC, rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, captive solar plants, solar park development, installation, commissioning and O&M; services. The company has successfully delivered 85+ MW of solar projects across various sectors.

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 12 to 16 years

Education: CA

Shift Time: 09:30 AM to 06:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Responsibilities:

- The GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall be responsible for the over all financial management and strategic leadership of the Finance & Accounts function of the Company.
- The incumbent will oversee the timely finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards (AS), wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors and secretarial auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and regulatory requirements.
- The role includes preparing financial presentations and reports for the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors, leading the annual budgeting process, preparing management information system (MIS) reports, conducting financial analysis and variance reporting and ensuring effective cash flow planning and management.
- Being a listed entity, the GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall ensure full compliance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations and other applicable laws and regulations.
- The responsibilities include reviewing financial results prior to Board approval,



coordinating with the Company Secretary for timely stock exchange filings and disclosures, overseeing investor-related financial information, supporting corporate governance reporting requirements, preparing the financial section of the Annual Report, and contributing to the financial portion of the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A;).
- A primary responsibility of the GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall be to lead the Company's banking relationships and fund-raising initiatives. The candidate should possess hands-one experience in arranging and managing working capital facilities, including cash credit limits, overdraft facilities, bank guarantees, letters of credit, bill discounting and supply chain finance.
- The role also requires extensive experience in project financing, including term loans, solar project finance, consortium lending and structured finance.
- The GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall be responsible for preparing CMA data, detailed project reports, financial projections, debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) calculations, presentations for banks and financial institutions, due diligence documentation and coordination for credit ratings.
- The incumbent shall maintain solid relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiate competitive interest rates and financing terms, oversee execution of security and loan documentation, ensure timely renewal of credit facilities, monitor compliance with financial covenants, and coordinate the submission of stock statements, Quarterly Information System (QIS) reports,



and other periodic information required by lenders.
- The GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall also oversee the Company's treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, fund utilisation monitoring, deployment of surplus funds, optimisation of borrowing costs and interest expenses, and efficient management of banking operations to ensure adequate liquidity for business requirements.
- The role shall include ensuring compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws and statutory financial obligations, including Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), financial compliances under the Companies Act and the Registrar of Companies (ROC) compliances wherever applicable, and timely filing of all statutory returns.
- Further, the GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall establish and strengthenthe Company's internal financial control frameworkby implementing robust Internal Financial Controls (IFC), developing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), strengthening risk management processes, formulating financial policies and procedures, implement in gan effective delegation of authority matrix, and ensuring sound budgetary and financial control systems across the organisation.
- As the head of the Finance & Accounts function, the GM-ACCOUNTS AND FINANCE shall provide leadership to the finance team by mentoring and developing personnel, establishing performance management systems, driving process improvements and automation initiatives, strengthening internal capabilities, and leading ERP implementation and optimisation to enhance operational efficiency, financial reporting accuracy and overall governance standards.
