Junior Audit Officer for Soniva Dental in USA
- Only Noida based candidates will be preferred.
- Hybrid Work Model 3 Days Office, 2 Days Work From Home )
- Shift time - US shift hours
Note: This role requires candidates to work from the Noida office 3 days a week. Applicants should be comfortable with the US Shifts.
Basic Purpose:
The Junior Audit Officer works under the direct supervision of the Team Lead/Senior Dental Audit Officer and is responsible for auditing dental clinic charts for accuracy, compliance, and identifying opportunities to increase treatment acceptance and office production
Core Responsibilities:
Daily Patient Review:
- Audit all patient charts for correct treatment entries and appropriate fees.
- Verify that all necessary consent forms are properly signed.
- Ensure that all forms contain the correct patient name and date of birth.
- Confirm that basic vital signs are documented properly for each patient.
- Check medical History and note tx done recently in chart.
- If private insurance patient, then to identify and note how much money left for treatment.
- If patients are aged 15-25 years old, to note evaluate for braces and wisdom teeth extraction.
- Evaluate missing teeth patients for implants and denture patients for ALL ON X.
- Verify that periodontal charting is completed for patients receiving scaling and root planing or other periodontal treatments.
Next-Day Patient Preparation Review all next-day patient appointments for:
- Outstanding balances owed.
- Evaluate all missing teeth patients for implants and denture patients for ALL ON X.
- Additional pending needed treatments (noted on the appointment).
- Screen for procedural prerequisites, including:
- Required pre-authorizations not yet obtained.
- Prior treatments that must be completed before the scheduled procedure.
- Any missing diagnostics, referrals, or administrative approvals.
- Confirm that all next-day patients have verified insurance; if verification is incomplete, promptly notify Meagan.
Audit patient accounts for outstanding administrative needs, including:
- Previous balances not yet collected.
- Add necessary follow-up notes or balances directly to the patients appointment notes.
- Identify sealant opportunities for patients under age 15 and document recommendations in their appointments.
- Flag new patients with favorable insurance coverage and minimal prior treatment as PPP in the notes to encourage comprehensive care planning .
Production Growth and Patient Targeting:
Identify opportunities for same-day treatment completion whenever possible.
Audit Findings, Compliance, and Trend Reporting:
- Maintain a detailed log of all audit findings, including missing information, incomplete forms, and charting deficiencies.
Review clinical records daily to ensure they are:
- Accurately reflecting all procedures that were walked out and billed; clinical notes must
- match billed services without discrepancies.
- Properly signed by the treating provider.
- Completed timely following each patient encounter.
- Documented in compliance with insurance and regulatory standards.
- Identify and track recurring issues or patterns, such as incomplete charting, missing consents, unsigned clinical notes, or missing billing documentation.
- Notify the Office Manager or President/Founder of any persistent trends or noncompliance issues requiring staff retraining, system updates, or administrative correction.
Training and Team Development:
- Develop and update training modules for onboarding and educating future Audit Officers and support staff.
- Train new Audit Officers on Soniva Dentals auditing standards, charting compliance, and treatment planning strategies.
- Conduct performance reviews with department managers to monitor employee productivity, professionalism, and goal achievement.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for junior audit team members, reinforcing best practices and providing ongoing support.

- Prioritize actions that contribute directly to increased office production and improved patient care. Minimizing missed opportunities, and supporting front desk collections through proactive account audits and chart reviews.
