WERE HIRING | Electrical Design & Estimation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design & Estimation Engineer to drive electrical system design, engineering calculations, estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering activities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical design software and the ability to translate technical requirements into cost-effective, buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop SLDs, power distribution, lighting, earthing/grounding and electrical layouts.
• Perform calculations for electrical load, transformer, UPS, DG, cable, busbar, rising main/BBT sizing and voltage drop.
• Prepare wiring schematics, control panel layouts, cable tray/raceway layouts, CCTV & data layouts, and terminal strip diagrams.
• Prepare complete internal and external electrical layouts using CAD tools.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable NEC, IEC, IEEE and local electrical standards.
• Prepare accurate BOQs,



material take-offs and project cost estimates.
• Analyze tender documents and prepare technical & commercial bids.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and support supplier negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AutoCAD Electrical – Mandatory.
• Knowledge of Revit/EPLAN will be an advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ETAP for electrical/power system analysis preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, estimation, BOQ and tendering.
• Good analytical, documentation and commercial evaluation skills.

Preferred Certifications: PMP, AACE or other relevant skilled certifications will be an added advantage.
