- 5+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
- Robust expertise in Java 8/11, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Mandatory experience in Payment Domain / Payment Processing Systems.
- Hands-on experience with Payment Gateway/Processor integrations.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL schema design, query optimization, indexing, and transactions.
- Experience with Redis and caching strategies.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ.
- Strong understanding of payment lifecycle: Authorization, Capture, Void, Refund, Settlement, Chargeback, and Reconciliation.
- Experience handling transaction failures, retries, idempotency, and data consistency.
- Working knowledge of PCI-DSS, Tokenization, Encryption, and secure payment processing.
- Good understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
