We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Chemist/Botanist to oversee our manufacturing, quality assurance, and formulation research operations. This role bridges laboratory science and factory production. You will ensure product quality, develop innovative formulations, and streamline manufacturing processes. Experience in Ayurvedic or nutraceutical manufacturing is highly valued.

Role & responsibilities Formulation & R&D;

- Develop novel formulations for herbal, Ayurvedic, or nutraceutical products.
- Optimize existing recipes to improve efficacy, stability, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct stability testing on raw materials and finished goods.

Quality Assurance (QA) & Control

- Test raw materials and finished products using standard laboratory techniques.
- Identify botanical species to ensure authenticity and prevent adulteration.




- Maintain precise documentation for regulatory compliance and batch manufacturing records (BMR).

Production Oversight

- Monitor batch production to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimize batch failures and waste.
- Enforce safety standards and Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing plant laboratory or R&D; setup.
- Advantage: Direct experience in Ayurvedic, herbal, or nutraceutical manufacturing units.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of botanical identification, chemical analysis, and lab equipment operation.
