Material Procurement

- Procure cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, plumbing materials, hardware and other civil materials.
- Purchase materials based on approved requisitions and project requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of materials at the site.

Vendor Management

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery and other commercial conditions.
- Maintain an updated vendor database.

Purchase Order Management

- Prepare and release purchase orders after necessary approvals.
- Follow up with vendors for order confirmation and delivery.
- Track pending POs and ensure timely closure.

Site & Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Stores and Accounts.
- Understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Resolve material shortages, delays and quality-related issues.

Cost & Quality Control

- Ensure purchases are within approved budgets and negotiated rates.
- Compare market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure materials meet approved specifications and quality standards.
