Key Responsibilities Store Operations Management • Oversee daily operations of the Instamart Dark Store, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments. • Manage First Mile processes including inbound, put-away, inventory accuracy, and stock health. • Supervise Last Mile operations ensuring timely order dispatch, rider coordination, and customer order accuracy. • Maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate with central teams for replenishment. Team & Roster Management • Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff including pickers, packers, and supervisors. • Prepare, manage, and monitor staff rosters based on demand forecasting and peak-hour requirements. • Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution. Cold Chain & Freezer Temperature Compliance • Ensure strict monitoring of freezer and chiller temperature as per guidelines. • Maintain and log temperatures for: o Chocolate: +15C to +20C (cool & dry storage) o Ice Cream: 18C or below o Frozen Products: –18C or below o Chilled Items: +1C to +4C • Conduct regular audits to ensure product quality and shelf-life compliance. Communication & Reporting • Handle daily email communication with central operations, HR, supply chain, and last mile teams.



• Prepare operational reports including attendance, performance, shrinkage, and SLA adherence. • Address escalations, resolve operational issues, and ensure SOP compliance. Customer Experience • Ensure minimal order delays, high order accuracy, and quality compliance. • Investigate complaints and coordinate with relevant teams for closure. Requirements • Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail, e-commerce, warehouse/dark store management, or similar operations. • Strong experience in team handling, roster planning, and store leadership. • Knowledge of cold-chain management and product temperature requirements. • Excellent communication skills, email etiquette, and basic MS Office/Google Sheets knowledge. • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and quick-paced operations. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of inventory control systems and operational SOPs. • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical ability.
