SAP HR – Time Management (CATS) Consultant – Job Description

• Configure and maintain core Time Management setup, including Holiday Calendars and

Work Schedules (including Rotational Schedules), ensuring accurate scheduling and

calendar allocation across employee groups and locations.

• Design and manage Time-Off Balance Management and Time-Off Request processes,

enabling accurate accrual, entitlement tracking, and self-service leave request workflows

for employees and managers.

• Implement and support Time Capture processes — including capturing time against cost

objects, WBS elements,



or other assignments via CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet)

— ensuring accurate recording of employee working hours and activities.

• Manage the Review, Resolution, and Approval of Time data, along with Time Processing

(evaluation, valuation, and integration with Payroll), to ensure clean, error-free time data

flows into downstream HR and Finance processes.

• Handle Historical Time Adjustments and corrections, ensuring retroactive changes are

accurately processed and reconciled, while partnering with HR/Payroll teams to resolve

discrepancies and support period-end time closing activities.
