Workato Developer

Skill: Workato Integration Developer

Band : B2, Experience: 5 + years

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune

We are looking for a hands-on Workato Integration Developer to design, build, test, and support enterprise integrations in a cloud-based environment. This role will work closely with an onsite Solution Architect, a techno-functional lead, a vendor (Epicor) resource for occasional guidance to convert existing SSIS integrations into scalable, reusable, and supportable solutions on a Workato platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Workato recipes from available technical and functional specifications and by harvesting existing SSIS code.
- Build reusable components, callable recipes, lookup tables, and mapping logic
- Integrate APIs, databases, ERP/CRM platforms, and file-based systems
- Create custom connectors as needed
- Implement authentication, logging, monitoring,



retry, and error-handling standards
- Perform testing, troubleshoot failures, and support production deployments
- Document integrations and follow enterprise development standards

Required Technical Skills

- 2–4 years of hands-on Workato development
- 3–6 years of overall integration development experience
- Strong experience with REST APIs , JSON , XML , CSV , OAuth , webhooks, and API authentication
- Solid SQL Server skills including queries, joins, stored procedures, and data transformation
- Experience debugging production issues, root cause analysis, and exception handling

Required Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently with distributed teams
- Comfortable working from technical specifications as well as from existing code
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

- Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), Oracle R12, Salesforce
- Azure SQL, AWS S3, Azure Storage, Azure Functions
- SFTP, file processing, event-driven integrations
- API management, CI/CD, Git, and integration monitoring tools

Gathering of requirements-Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.

Coding and Configuration-"Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Testing and Trial Runs-"Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Implementation-Participate in implementation of software application and its integration with other systems to ensure stability.

Maintain Documentation-Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, while presenting information using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well-structured code.

Stakeholder Collaboration-Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.
