KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Finance & Financial Assistance

- Research suitable project-finance and funding opportunities.

- Identify banks, financial institutions, investors, DFIs and other funding channels.

- Assist in preparation of funding proposals, project information and financial presentations.

- Support basic project financial analysis, cash-flow assessment, IRR, DSCR and project viability analysis.

- Coordinate documentation and follow-ups with banks, lenders, investors and financial consultants.

- Maintain funding and investor databases.

International Market Entry

- Conduct country and sector research for new renewable-energy markets.

- Research local business environment, investment requirements and market-entry options.

- Analyse potential partners, competitors, consultants, banks and service providers.

- Prepare concise management reports comparing opportunities, risks and entry options.

- Support management in establishing overseas operations/SPVs.

Compliance & Cross-Border Coordination

- Research company-registration, licensing and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain country-wise compliance and documentation trackers.

- Coordinate with CA, CS, legal, tax and overseas professional consultants.

- Assist in gathering information relating to FEMA, foreign exchange, overseas investment and repatriation.

- Track documentation and regulatory follow-ups.

INITIAL INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENT

The selected candidate will assist management with research and coordination for our proposed renewable-energy expansion into Nigeria, including:

- Local company/SPV establishment

- Solar-sector regulatory environment

- PPA and project-finance research

- Foreign-exchange mechanisms

- Cross-border fund flows

- Banking ecosystem

- DFI / development-finance opportunities

- Payment-security mechanisms





- Local licences and compliance requirements

- Local professional/strategic partner identification

- Country and investment-risk assessment

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Preferred Qualification:

MBA Finance / International Business / Strategy / Business Analytics, or equivalent relevant qualification.

Experience: 1–3 years in one or more of the following areas:

Project Finance | Corporate Finance | Financial Analysis | International Business | Transaction Advisory | Market Research | Infrastructure | Renewable Energy | Consulting

SKILLS WE VALUE

- Basic financial modelling knowledge

- Strong internet and market-research capability

- Ability to analyse information and prepare management summaries

- PowerPoint/presentation skills

- Good written and spoken English

- Strong follow-up and coordination skills

- Interest in international business and renewable energy

Exposure to FEMA, forex, cross-border transactions, project finance, renewable energy or infrastructure will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
