Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager / Finance Controller with 12+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance controllership, taxation, and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Indian GAAP, Indian taxation, statutory audit, tax audit, transfer pricing audit, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining financial controls, and delivering compliance requirements within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting Operations

- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial transactions, including payments, invoicing, collections, and financial documentation.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial operations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation and review of accounting entries and financial transactions.




- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Indian GAAP.
- Oversee general accounting, finance operations, budgeting, and other transactional finance activities.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

- Review and ensure compliance with Indian financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage direct and indirect taxation requirements, including GST, TDS, and applicable tax compliances.
- Ensure compliance with contractual arrangements, FEMA, Companies Act, ROC requirements, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and manage statutory audit, tax audit, and transfer pricing (TP) audit activities.
- Ensure timely completion of tax filings, transfer pricing filings, and other statutory and regulatory submissions.
- Address audit queries and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management

- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance, accounting, and compliance functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, tax consultants,



and business stakeholders to ensure smooth finance operations.
- Provide timely financial insights and support to stakeholders for business and operational decision-making.

Mandatory Skills

- 1218 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience in Indian GAAP.
- Proven experience in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Transfer Pricing (TP) Audit.
- Robust knowledge of Indian Taxation, including GST and TDS.
- Experience in financial controls, general accounting, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of ROC Compliance, Companies Act, and FEMA.
- Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance requirements in India.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
