Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished Optical Fiber Cable drums
Verify drum details:
o Drum Number
o Cable Length
o Cable Type / Specification
o Batch / Lot Number
Check labe ling, marking, and identification of cable drums
Inspect physical condition:
o Drum damage / breakage
o Cable surface condition
Verify test reports and documents (TRF, QC reports, etc.)
Ensure proper packing quality (wrapping, sealing, protection)
Confirm compliance with customer specifications and dispatch checklist
Identify and report Non-Conformance (NC)
Maintain inspection records and reports
Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and dispatch team
