Performance Tuning Capacity Monitoring Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Performance Tuning Capacity Monitoring Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure and applications through proactive capacity planning performance optimization and risk management The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IT Capacity Management performance monitoring capacity forecasting and IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT The role requires collaboration with infrastructure application security and operations teams to ensure optimal system performance regulatory compliance and operational resilience

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze infrastructure application database and network performance to ensure optimal utilization and service availability

Perform capacity planning and forecasting using historical trends growth projections and business demand analysis

Identify performance bottlenecks and implement tuning recommendations across servers applications databases and cloud environments

Develop capacity management strategies aligned with business technology and regulatory requirements

Establish and maintain capacity dashboards utilization reports performance metrics and KPI tracking

Ensure adherence to ITIL Capacity Management processes and industry best practices

Support risk assessments and regulatory compliance activities related to technology infrastructure and operational resilience





Apply COBIT governance principles to improve IT controls process maturity and performance management

Conduct statistical and quantitative analysis to predict future resource requirements and capacity risks

Collaborate with infrastructure security operations and application support teams to optimize system performance

Produce executivelevel reports highlighting capacity trends performance risks and optimization opportunities

Drive knowledgesharing initiatives and provide guidance to support teams on performance and capacity management practices

Participate in incident problem and change management activities to minimize service disruptions

Recommend automation and monitoring enhancements to improve operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline

5 years of experience in Performance Monitoring Capacity Planning or IT Infrastructure Management

Solid understanding of IT Capacity Management methodologies and forecasting techniques

Experience with ITIL framework particularly Capacity Incident Problem and Change Management processes

Knowledge of COBIT governance framework and IT control practices

Experience in Risk Regulatory Management and Information Security Management

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret performance and utilization data

Experience with enterprise monitoring and reporting tools

Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work effectively with global operations and support teams
