Sr. Net Developer

- Designing, coding, testing and installing applications programs either in one major program or a range of programs across multiple platforms
- Conducting design and code reviews, and providing advice and support of more junior members of the team
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining systems and program documentation
- Analysis and design of applications programs and databases
- Assist and advice in problem determination and resolution.
- Liaising with users to assist with problem determination.
- Work closely with the business analysts to evaluate possible solutions and refine the business and technical requirements.
- Ensure that solutions are developed within agreed time frames and to the agreed scope such that business requirements are met.
- Provide quality applications that are free of defects, fit for purpose, and designed for ongoing ease of support and maintenance.
- Develop solutions that meet the security and privacy standards of Experian
- Adhere to published processes and procedures and recommend enhancements to process and procedures where appropriate.
- Effectively communicate the status of development activities to the Project Team
- Exhibiting robust customer and service orientation
- Working across teams and functions to ensure the ongoing health and performance of IT systems are maintained and enhanced.
- Well versed with Agile ways of working.
- Consistently responding rapidly to high severity systems problems; resolving them quickly and effectively
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

The experience and qualifications

- 10 years of experience in Programming and Applications Design,



with a minimum of 5 years in a large IT site, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Commercially proven experience in developing applications, including at least 5 years working with Microsoft .NET Core and proficient in C# language, architecture, and design standards.
- Frontend web developer using Asp. Net, MVC
- Backend development using .Net, .Net Core, C#, Entity framework, Web API & SOAP API, XML,
- Extensive knowledge of dependency injection and Entity framework.
- Developed knowledge of Object Orientated (OO) analysis and design, OO methodologies and techniques.
- Developed skills and knowledge of one of the major relational database packages such as Microsoft SQL Server and SQL MI
- DevOps experience using Bitbucket, Team city, Octopus deploy, Github and Jenkins
- Experience working with Azure Cloud Technologies.
- Strong programming aptitude
- Ability to understand the essential needs of users and meet these in well-designed programs.
- Experience in component and assembly testing
- In depth knowledge of the SDLC
- Knowledge of common debugging techniques
- Experience in planning and estimating personal and others work effort.
- Ability to communicate problems of a technical nature to all levels of management and users.
- Skills in conducting structured analysis and problem analysis.
