Job Description - Steel Estimation Engineer

Role: Steel Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:-

1.Study PEB buildings, industrial housings, and super steel structures from drawings and specifications.

2.Prepare accurate steel, accessories, and buyout material estimations.

3.Review AutoCAD drawings and Tekla models for quantity take-off.

4.Identify and apply correct material grades for MS steel, sheeting,



and stainless-steel materials.

5.Perform comparison and reconciliation between Estimation and BOM.

6.Prepare customer quotation estimations based on project requirements.

7.Coordinate proactively with Engineering, Drafting, PMG, Planning, and other cross-functional teams.

8.Prepare MIS reports and estimation summaries using MS Office (especially Excel).

Required Skills:

1.Experience in PEB and structural steel estimation.

2.Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Tekla.

3.Robust understanding of steel materials and fabrication components.

4.Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills
