Job Summary
We are looking for a technically strong and execution-oriented Site Project Engineer to manage commercial interior fit-out projects from commencement to handover, ensuring quality, safety, timely completion and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute site works as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors and vendors.
- Monitor daily site activities, manpower, materials and project progress.
- Supervise and coordinate civil, MEP, joinery, false ceiling, flooring, painting and finishing works.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies, technical issues and site requirements.
- Raise technical queries and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with approved drawings, specifications and materials.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with all project stakeholders.
- Prepare measurement sheets for billing and verify executed quantities.
- Check subcontractor measurements and support billing activities.
- Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure of snags before handover.
- Support preparation of As-Built Drawings and project close-out documentation.
- Ensure proper site documentation and safety compliance.
- Monitor project progress and take necessary action to achieve project timelines.
- Resolve day-to-day site execution issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely completion.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in commercial interior fit-out execution.
- Good knowledge of interior construction and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity measurement and billing.
- Good client, consultant and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Strong site supervision and project execution skills.
- Good problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of MS Project.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of quality control and site safety requirements.
