Position Summary

The Associate – Bancassurance will support business generation activities at assigned bank

branches. The role involves assisting branch teams with day-to-day coordination,

documentation, customer interaction, and supporting the sales process to ensure smooth

execution of bancassurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Branch Coordination & Relationship Management

- Assist in managing and strengthening relationships with assigned bank branches.
- Support branch staff with insurance product queries and basic customer servicing

requirements.

- Ensure consistent branch engagement to enable smooth business operations.

2. Sales Support & Business Facilitation

- Support the branch and sales team in lead follow-ups, customer profiling, and

product pitching as guided by supervisors.

- Assist in executing sales strategies at the branch level to achieve monthly business

targets.

- Coordinate documentation, proposal forms, and required compliance checks.

Promotion & Activity Support• Assist in branch-level promotional activities to generate leads and enhance product

visibility.

- Support training sessions or product refreshers for branch officials when required.
- Coordinate local campaigns or initiatives planned with the channel partner.

4. Process Management & Reporting

- Maintain MIS, daily activity trackers, call logs, and branch performance updates.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports to Team Leader/Manager.
- Follow internal processes to ensure smooth policy issuance and customer

onboarding.

5. Market & Competitor Awareness

- Gather basic insights on competitor products and bank activities at the ground level.
- Share relevant observations with reporting managers to support local strategies.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Education

- Graduate/Under Graduate in any discipline.

Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in Insurance / BFSI / Bancassurance preferred.
- Freshers with solid communication and interested in insurance sales can apply too.
