Job Purpose

To ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and continuousimprovement of injection molding machines and utility systems through effectivepreventive and breakdown maintenance, utility management, spare parts control,SAP data management, vendor coordination, team development, and auditcompliance, thereby supporting uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Utility Maintenance

- To ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all JSW make Injection Moulding Machines and associated electrical systems.

- To operate, monitor, maintain, and ensure reliable performance of critical utility equipment, including DG Sets, Air Compressors, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Transformers, LT Panels, Electrical Distribution Systems, STP, Water Supply Distribution Systems, and other utility infrastructure.

- To maintain and troubleshoot molding machines, utility systems, and electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production operations.

- To prepare, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machines and utility equipment.

- To conduct breakdown analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring failures.

SAP Spare Parts Management

- To perform SAP transactions related to maintenance activities, work orders, spare consumption, equipment history records, and maintenance documentation.

- To plan, monitor, and maintain critical spare parts inventory, ensuring optimum stock levels and timely availability of materials.

Vendor Cross-Functional Coordination

- To coordinate with vendors, OEMs,



and service providers for maintenance support, AMC management, breakdown resolution, spare procurement, inspections, and technical improvements.

- To coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, and other departments for effective planning and execution of maintenance activities.

Performance Monitoring Improvement

- To monitor and improve maintenance KPIs such as Machine Uptime, Utility Availability, Downtime, MTTR, MTBF, Energy Consumption, and Maintenance Cost.

- To support TPM, Kaizen, Energy Conservation, Cost Reduction, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Training Team Development

- To develop, implement, and execute training plans for maintenance technicians and team members to enhance technical competency, troubleshooting capability, safety awareness, and operational excellence.

- To maintain skill matrices, training records, competency assessments, SOPs, One Point Lessons (OPLs), and work instructions.

Documentation, Reporting Audits

- To prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports, utility performance reports, downtime analysis reports, spare inventory reports, and management review presentations.

- To ensure proper documentation of maintenance records, breakdown reports, PM checklists, calibration records, statutory compliance records, utility logs, and vendor service reports.

- To maintain audit readiness through effective documentation, process compliance,



and implementation of corrective actions.

- To ensure successful completion of ISO/IATF, customer, and statutory audits with timely closure of audit findings.

Key Skills Required

- Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance (JSW preferred)

Experience

- 5-8 years of experience in Maintenance Utilities in an Automotive / Manufacturing Environment.

- Hands-on experience in Injection Moulding Machines and Utility Equipment Management preferred.
