About the Role

ProcMart is looking for an experienced Manager – Fabrication & Steel Solutions (Sales) to drive business development and customer relationships in the steel fabrication and industrial solutions segment.

The role requires a robust combination of technical knowledge, industrial sales, client management and project coordination. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer requirements, developing technical-commercial solutions, managing negotiations and coordinating with engineering, production and quality teams for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities with manufacturing plants, EPC companies, industrial clients and project contractors.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to requirement understanding, technical discussions, quotation, negotiation and order closure.
- Drive sales of industrial steel structures, fabricated components, custom engineering solutions and mechanical fabrication works.
- Understand fabrication drawings,



project specifications and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production and QA/QC teams for feasibility, costing, timelines and execution.
- Manage key customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project requirements and updates.
- Monitor project execution, production progress, quality and delivery timelines.
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications and applicable quality standards.
- Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, MIS, quotations and project documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7–14 years of relevant experience in steel fabrication, industrial fabrication, mechanical projects or engineering sales.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication, welding, fabrication drawings and project execution.
- Knowledge of NDT processes – PT, MT, UT, QA/QC documentation and fabrication quality processes.
- Experience dealing with industrial customers and project-based sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation and business development skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into commercial opportunities.
- Willingness to work closely with a steel fabrication plant and project execution teams.

Preferred Qualification

B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Certifications in QA/QC, NDT, AutoCAD or Fabrication Engineering will be an added advantage.
