We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) Executive to drive business development and sales for our solar energy solutions in the commercial and industrial segment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop recent C&I; customers for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and direct business development.
Meet with industrial and commercial clients to understand their energy requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and project presentations.
Coordinate with engineering and technical teams for site surveys, feasibility studies, and system design.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and customer meetings to negotiation and order closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, facility managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
Conduct site visits and gather technical and commercial information required for project evaluation.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining company profitability.
Track sales pipeline, follow up with prospects, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities,
and developments in the solar industry.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project handover after order confirmation.
Required Skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good understanding of solar PV systems, especially C&I;/rooftop solar.
Ability to understand electricity bills, consumption patterns, and basic solar project economics.
Strong lead-generation and customer relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and CRM tools.
Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
Experience
1 to 5 years of experience in solar sales, renewable energy, electrical solutions, EPC, B2C or B2B sales preferred.
Candidates with strong B2B/B2C sales experience and an interest in renewable energy may also be considered.
