Zura Labs is hiring a detail-oriented Financial Analyst for our Vizag office. The successful candidate will provide financial analysis, reporting, and accounting-related support to small and medium-sized businesses and mid-size accounting firms in the United States.

This position requires strong financial analysis skills, excellent written and verbal English communication, and prior experience supporting U.S.-based companies while working from India. The analyst will collaborate with U.S. clients and accounting professionals, interpret financial data, prepare reports, and translate findings into explicit, practical business insights.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Analyze financial statements, operating results, budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, financial models, and variance analyses.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify important trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash-flow management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
- Review financial information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Convert financial data into clear insights that support business decisions.
- Communicate directly and professionally with U.S.-based clients and accounting teams.
- Respond to client questions accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain well-organized workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple client assignments and meet recurring deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients across India and U.S.



time zones.

Candidate Profile

- Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to explain financial information clearly to clients and non-finance stakeholders.
- Prior experience supporting U.S.-based businesses or accounting firms from India.
- Familiarity with U.S. business practices, client expectations, and professional communication standards.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Professional, dependable, client-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting U.S. SMBs or mid-size accounting firms.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and common U.S. financial reporting practices.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting systems.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and data-visualization tools.
- Progress toward CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or another relevant professional qualification.

Education Qualifications

UG: B.Com, BBA in Finance, B.Sc in Economics, or another relevant bachelors degree
PG: MBA/PGDM in Finance, M.Com, or equivalent preferred but not required
Professional: CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, CFA, or CPA coursework is an advantage
