Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager with 7 to 10 years of experience in sourcing and managing vendors for infra related items (electrical equipment, warehousing tools, office furniture, and electronic devices). The role requires strong access to vendor database, expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, and timely procurement execution and strong follow-up skills from delivery to final payment.

Note:

1. This job is not suitable for applicants who are working as procurement analysts

2. Applicants from manufacturing, construction (infra material) or warehousing sectors will be considered.

3. Excellent communication skills in English and conversational knowledge of Hindi is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Access to Vendor Database Should have a ready database of vendors as per the categories defined in the position overview. Since the vendors have to be scouted on PAN India basis, the applicant should have the ready strategy to scout for vendors across India.
- Vendor Database Management Build and maintain a robust new vendor database across categories, ensuring diversity, reliability, and compliance.




- Rate Card Development Create and update itemized rate cards for procurement in in-house applications to streamline purchase processes.
- Cost Optimization Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality, leveraging negotiation and market benchmarking.
- Timely Deliveries Ensure procurement cycles are completed within defined timelines, coordinating closely with vendors and internal teams.
- Payment Follow-ups Execute robust follow-up mechanisms to ensure vendors receive timely payments, maintaining healthy business relationships.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, warehousing tools, office furniture, and electronic devices.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proven ability in cost optimization and budget control.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time-bound deliveries.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in procurement software and in-house applications.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 7 to 10 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Exposure to ERP systems or procurement management tools preferred.
