Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Backend/Full Stack Developer at CYC Group. As a Backend/Full
Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web
applications. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing server-side code, designing
databases, and collaborating with front-end developers. This is an on-site role located in the
Kolkata metropolitan area.
Job Role:
• Design APIs, DB, Queues, monitoring for micro services.
• Writing, deploying and managing micro services.
• Migrate existing components into distributed micro service architecture.
• Integration with presentation / aggregation layer.
• AWS Cloud ( Manage Server )
• API integration with 3rd parties.
• Unit test cases, automation
• Database optimization
• Design of highly concurrent backend architecture
• Handling high traffic data
• Strong experience in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and FullStack Development
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Knowledge of database technologies and SQL
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills




• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
• B.E./B.Tech (CS)/ MTECH from tier – l engineering institutes or universities with 2-4
years of work experience.
• A solid foundation in computer science, with robust competencies in data structures,
algorithms, and software design.
• Worked in a large scale consumer product.
• Must have worked on distributed and micro service architecture.
• Very strong fundamentals on scale/ performance/ memory optimization.
• Must have experience in Java+ Angular/React
• Must have production knowledge of Tomcat / Jetty / Undertow
• Must have worked on Kafka, Elastic Search
• Must have knowledge in Mysql ( any RDBMS )
• Preferred - experience in handling high traffic apps.
• Preferred - experience in MongoDB, Redis , Couch Db, Dynamo DB, Riak.
• Preferred - experience in Asynchronous Programming ( Actor model concurrency /
Rx Java / Executor Framework )
• Preferred - experience in AWS / Google / Azure Cloud ( Managing , monitoring and
hosting servers )
