Job Description – Senior Engineer – Civil

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Civil to manage site execution and civil construction activities for residential/commercial high-rise projects. The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in RCC, contractor coordination, quality control and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, RCC, masonry, plastering and finishing works.

- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications and IS Codes.

- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and work schedules.

- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.

- Conduct quality inspections and coordinate material/cube testing.

- Verify measurements, quantities and contractor running bills.

- Coordinate with architects,



structural and MEP consultants for site issues.

- Ensure site safety and statutory compliance, including RERA/WBHIRA.

- Maintain DPRs, inspection reports and other site documentation.

- Guide junior engineers and site supervisors.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil Construction.

- Strong experience in residential/commercial high-rise projects.

- Hands-on experience in RCC, basement/podium, shuttering, reinforcement and finishing.

- Minimum 3 years in a Senior Site Engineer / Site In-Charge role preferred.

- Strong contractor and site team management skills.

- Good knowledge of construction quality standards, safety practices and IS Codes.

- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.

- Real estate/building construction experience preferred.
