Key Responsibilities

Monitor Linux servers and ensure system availability.
Perform routine server health checks and maintenance activities.
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
Troubleshoot basic Linux OS issues and service-related incidents.
Apply patches and updates as per organizational procedures.
Monitor system logs and escalate issues when required.
Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities.
Maintain operational documentation and reports.
Coordinate with senior engineers for issue resolution and project activities.
Participate in shift operations, if required.
Required Skills
Basic hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu).
Understanding of Linux commands, file systems, permissions, and process management.
Familiarity with SSH,



networking fundamentals, and basic troubleshooting.
Valuable understanding of server monitoring concepts.
Basic shell scripting knowledge is desirable.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies.

RequirementsPreferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Basic exposure to VMware, KVM, or other virtualization platforms.
Awareness of containers, Kubernetes, or OpenShift concepts.
Basic knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is beneficial but not mandatory.
