Senior Embedded C++ Engineer For CACL

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Embedded C++ Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our automotive software team. The role involves developing reliable, high-quality embedded software for vehicle systems and working closely with architects, system engineers, testers, and other development teams.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in C++, embedded software design, debugging, testing, and automotive development processes.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software in C++.

- Analyze requirements and convert them into robust software solutions.

- Debug and resolve complex software issues across multiple components.

- Develop unit, integration, and component tests.

- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

- Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.

- Investigate compiler, static-analysis, and integration issues.

- Support software releases and continuous-improvement activities.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.

Required Skills

- 8 to 12 years of experience in embedded software development.

- Strong programming skills in C and modern C++.

- Good knowledge of object-oriented design and embedded systems.





- Experience with state machines, asynchronous processing, timers, and callbacks.

- Experience in automotive ECU software development.

- Knowledge of AUTOSAR and automotive diagnostics.

- Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.

- Familiarity with Git and build systems such as Bazel or CMake.

- Knowledge of coding standards such as AUTOSAR C++14 or MISRA.

- Experience with static-analysis tools such as Coverity or equivalent.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN or LIN.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based development environments.
- Experience mentoring engineers or taking ownership of software components.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
