About the Role

We are looking for an SEO Intern who is curious about how search engines work and interested in learning how businesses can improve their online visibility and generate organic traffic.

The intern will work closely with the content and growth team to support SEO research, content optimization, website improvements, and search performance tracking.

This is an on-site, office-based role with real business exposure and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.

Assist in on-page SEO optimization of website pages and content.

Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal links.

Assist in creating and optimizing SEO-friendly content.

Research competitors and analyze their SEO strategies.

Support content planning based on search intent and keyword opportunities.

Monitor website rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.

Assist with Google Search Console and Google Analytics reporting.





Identify basic technical and on-page SEO issues.

Support internal linking and website content optimization.

Research backlink and off-page SEO opportunities.

Maintain SEO reports, keyword tracking sheets, and documentation.

Stay updated with Google search algorithm changes and current SEO best practices.

Eligibility & Educational Background

This internship is open to students or recent graduates from the following backgrounds:

BBA / MBA – Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields.

B.Com / Business Analytics / Management.

BCA / MCA / Computer Science or related fields.

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related fields.

Students from any educational background with a strong interest in SEO and digital marketing are also welcome.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts.

Logical and analytical thinking.

Good research skills.

Basic understanding of keywords and search intent.

Good written communication skills.

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and digital tools.

Attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and experiment.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Not Mandatory, but Excellent to Have





Basic experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Ubersuggest, or similar SEO platforms.

Basic understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.

Basic knowledge of HTML.

Experience with content writing or content optimization.

Understanding of local SEO.

Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar tools.

Basic understanding of website performance and Core Web Vitals.

Experience maintaining keyword research or SEO reports.
