Job Title: Manager – Learning & Development (L&D;)

Salary: Up to ₹9.00 LPA (Fixed + Travel Allowances)

Mandatory Requirement: Must possess a valid 2-wheeler license and two-wheeler for active campus travel.

Job Purpose

To design, implement, and oversee comprehensive Learning & Development programs across Velammal’s educational campuses in Tamil Nadu. The L&D; Manager will focus on pedagogical skill upgrades, teacher training workshops, administrative leadership development, and operational onboarding tailored specifically for the K-12 and higher education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Need Analysis (TNA) & Curriculum Design

* Conduct periodic TNA across academic (teaching faculty, principal leads, HODs) and non-academic staff across campuses.

* Design custom training modules, pedagogy frameworks, micro-learning sessions, and soft-skill programs aligned with school board requirements (CBSE, State Board, Higher Ed).

2. Program Execution & Campus Operations

* Deliver interactive instructor-led training (ILT) and train-the-trainer (TTT) workshops across regional institutions.

* Manage end-to-end logistics, schedule calendars, and facilitate smooth training deployment across assigned zones.

3. Evaluation & Quality Metrics





* Track post-training performance improvement metrics, classroom effectiveness, and operational ROI.

* Gather feedback from School Principals, Deans, and HR heads to continuously refine learning content and methodology.

4. Field Movement & Campus Support

* Execute frequent on-site visits across various Velammal campuses within Tamil Nadu to inspect classroom application and conduct follow-up coaching sessions.

Candidate Eligibility Criteria

* Industry Experience: Strict requirement of 6 to 8 years of core L&D; / Teacher Training / Academic Training experience exclusively within the Education Sector (Schools, Colleges, Educational Foundations, or EdTech Institutions).

* Regional/Domicile Constraint: Candidate must be a native resident of Tamil Nadu with full fluency in Tamil and English (written and verbal).

* Vehicle Requirement: Mandatory ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for regular campus visits.

* Educational Qualification: Master’s degree MBA in HR/Training,

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,031,448.68 per year
