Junior Architect About the Role
Location- Sector 3, Noida Work days- 6 days/ Onsite
We are looking for a Junior Architect with 2–3 years of professional experience. Hands-on experience in commercial interiors is mandatory, along with a good understanding of residential interiors and architectural projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design development, space planning, working drawings, detailing, material selection, BOQ preparation, costing, and site execution. We are looking for someone who can think beyond drawings, coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to taking a project from concept to completion.

The candidate should also be well-versed with materials currently available in the market and have a basic understanding of prevailing market rates and project costing.

Experience across both interior and architectural projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities Design & Space Planning

- Develop concepts and space plans for commercial and residential interior projects.
- Prepare layouts, design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Translate client requirements into functional and visually strong design solutions.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute practical, creative ideas.
- Recommend suitable materials and finishes based on design requirements, availability, budget, and market trends.

Working Drawings, BOQs & Detailing

- Prepare detailed working and GFC drawings for execution.
- Develop furniture layouts, flooring plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections,



and detailed drawings.
- Prepare furniture, joinery, and interior detailing.
- Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, materials, and project requirements.
- Assist in quantity estimation and basic costing for interior and architectural works.
- Ensure drawings and BOQs are accurate, coordinated, and practical for site execution.

Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and execution teams.
- Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure design intent is maintained.
- Resolve design and technical issues arising during execution.
- Coordinate materials, finishes, samples, and site requirements.
- Monitor detailing, workmanship, and overall execution quality.
- Stay updated on materials, finishes, products, vendors, and approximate prevailing market rates to support practical design and procurement decisions.

Client & Vendor Coordination

- Participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.
- Communicate design and technical requirements clearly to vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate with vendors for material options, quotations, specifications, and pricing.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in:

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Adobe Photoshop
- Google Sheets
- Working & GFC Drawings
- Interior and Joinery Detailing
- BOQ Preparation & Quantity Estimation

A good understanding of commercial and residential interior materials, finishes,



furniture, lighting, MEP coordination, site execution, and prevailing market rates is preferred.

What We're Looking For

- 2–3 years of relevant qualified experience
- Experience in commercial interiors, such as offices, retail spaces, showrooms, cafés/restaurants, hospitality, or similar projects
- Exposure to residential interiors and architectural projects
- Strong design, space-planning, and technical drawing skills
- Ability to prepare and understand BOQs and basic project costing
- Good knowledge of materials and finishes available in the market, along with a basic understanding of their prevailing rates
- Practical understanding of materials, detailing, and execution
- Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, vendors, contractors, and site teams
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to take ownership of assigned work and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision
