TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

➢ Lead the design and development of CNC cutting tools, including Solid Carbide,
Indexable, and Special Purpose Tools, from concept to product launch.

➢ Develop optimized tool geometries and innovative tooling solutions to improve
machining performance, productivity, and tool life.

➢ Collaborate with Production, Application Engineering, Quality, and Sales teams
to deliver customer-specific tooling solutions.

➢ Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and technical




documentation while ensuring compliance with quality and engineering standards.

➢ Lead, mentor, and develop the Design team, establishing best practices and
driving technical excellence.

➢ Conduct feasibility studies, tooling evaluations, root cause analysis, and
provide technical support for customer trials and applications.

➢ Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design manufacturability and
efficient production processes.

➢ Drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage multiple design projects, and
monitor industry trends to support innovation and new product development.

➢ Maintain engineering records, project reports, and design databases as per
company requirements.

PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

➢ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Tool
Engineering, or a related discipline.

➢ 8-10 years of experience in CNC Cutting Tool Design & Development, with at
least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role
