About the Opportunity
iMerit is looking for an experienced Neurologist for a short-term, project-based assignment supporting a healthcare client.
The role involves reviewing and working on case-based clinical information through the client-provided platform. The assignment will be conducted on an ad-hoc basis, with advance notice provided for each case.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze assigned neurology-related clinical cases and medical notes using the client-provided tool.
Apply clinical expertise to the assigned case-based work.
Review a high volume of clinical documentation accurately and efficiently.
Complete assigned cases within the agreed timelines.
Maintain a high level of clinical accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Be available for assigned cases based on advance scheduling/notice.
Candidate Requirements
MBBS with MD/DNB/DM or equivalent specialization in Neurology .
Must be a currently practicing Neurologist or have recent clinical practice experience.




Candidates should not have been away from active clinical practice for more than 5 years .
Solid understanding of neurology and clinical documentation.
Good attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of medical notes.
Comfortable working from the iMerit Kolkata office for the duration of the assignment.
Good communication skills and ability to work within defined project timelines.
Project Details
Approximately 10 cases are expected during the assignment.
Each case may contain approximately 1,000 clinical notes for review.
Work will be ad-hoc and case-based , with advance notice provided before assignments.
The assignment is expected to run from mid-October through December 2026 .
Selection Process
Candidates will undergo an initial CV screening .
Shortlisted profiles will be shared with the client for further evaluation/selection.
