IT Director

Webilent is seeking an experienced healthcare technology and operations leader to oversee programs and platforms supporting Medicare and Medicaid operations. This role will connect business operations, IT teams, vendors and executive stakeholders to improve delivery, system performance and operational results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technology and operational initiatives supporting claims, enrollment, eligibility, encounters, provider data and reporting.
Partner with claims operations, compliance, finance, clinical, analytics and IT teams to establish priorities and resolve issues.
Oversee healthcare applications, integrations, production support and related vendor services.
Manage program plans, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and executive-level reporting.
Lead internal teams and external vendors while establishing clear delivery, quality and performance expectations.
Ensure systems and processes support CMS, HIPAA, security, audit and privacy requirements.
Improve operational performance through service metrics, process improvement, automation and root-cause analysis.
Communicate program status, risks and recommendations clearly to business, technical and executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications




12+ years of experience in healthcare technology, insurance technology, IT operations or enterprise program delivery.
5+ years of experience in a senior leadership or director-level position.
5+ years of Prior Experience hands on design and development projects.
Experience supporting a health plan, payer, insurance carrier, benefits administrator or other regulated healthcare organization.
Understanding of claims operations and related enrollment, eligibility, encounter, provider or reporting systems.
Strong experience leading cross-functional teams, vendors and large enterprise initiatives.
Experience with program governance, budgeting, resource planning, risk management and executive reporting.
Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, managed care, stop-loss insurance or self-funded health plans.
Familiarity with CMS requirements and healthcare claims and encounter reporting.
Experience managing enterprise applications, distributed teams and large vendor relationships.
AWS or other enterprise cloud-platform experience.
PMP, PgMP, Protected or ITIL certification is a plus.
