nJob Description
nJob Summary: We are looking for an experienced lawyer with expertise in data protection laws to ensure compliance with global and regional privacy regulations, including GDPR and the India Digital Data Privacy Bill.
nKey Responsibilities: Work closely with legal, compliance, IT, and security teams to manage data privacy initiatives. Lead the implementation of privacy policies and risk mitigation strategies. Independently draft, review and negotiate DPAs, Standard contractual clauses and other relevant data protection documents.
nProgram Management: Oversee the company's global privacy program,



ensuring adherence to privacy laws and internal policies. Lead the execution of the India Digital Data Privacy Bill.
nCompliance Monitoring: Establish frameworks for ongoing monitoring of privacy compliance including but not limited to setting up end to end framework for Controller and Processor in an organization. Review and update privacy policies regularly, ensuring compliance with audits and regulations.
nIncident Response: Lead responses to data breaches, privacy complaints, and access requests. Assist with data breach notification and remediation processes.
nTraining and Awareness: Conduct privacy awareness programs and training for employees from time to time.
nInternal Audit: Plan and execute internal audits to assess operational efficiency. Identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation. Produce comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
