Key Responsibilities

Prepare product cost estimates based on BOM, engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.

-
Analyze material, labor, machining, tooling, and overhead costs.

-
Develop and maintain standard cost sheets for recent and existing products.

-
Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, and Sales teams for cost estimation and quotation preparation.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

-
Monitor material price variations and update costing data.

-
Support budgeting, profitability analysis, and cost variance reporting.

-
Evaluate supplier quotations and maintain accurate costing records.

-
Provide cost feasibility analysis for new product development.

Preferred Skills

-
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and sheet metal operations.

Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM), routing, and production planning.

-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
