Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Operations

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as: Mixers, dispersers, ball mills, Pumps, compressors, agitators, Storage tanks and pipelines

Plan and execute preventive & predictive maintenance schedules

Reduce machine downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Production Support

Coordinate with production team to ensure uninterrupted operations

Monitor mechanical performance during batch processing

Assist in installation and commissioning of current machinery
- Utilities Management

Oversee utilities like: Air compressors

Ensure energy efficiency and proper functioning
- Safety & Compliance

Follow plant safety standards and SOPs

Ensure compliance with industrial and environmental regulations

Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
- Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement

Implement modifications to improve productivity

Support lean manufacturing / TPM initiatives
- Documentation





Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory

Prepare technical reports and audit documents

Qualifications

(B.Tech / Diploma /ITI -Mechanical )also acceptable depending on role)

Skills Required

Knowledge of rotating equipment and fluid handling systems

Familiarity with paint plant machinery

Basic understanding of hydraulics & pneumatics

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of maintenance tools and ERP systems (like SAP is a plus)

Experience

2–5 years in manufacturing (preferably paint / chemical industry)

Freshers may apply for junior roles

Preferred Knowledge

Understanding of paint manufacturing process

Exposure to hazardous area equipment

Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems

Working Conditions

Plant-based role

May involve shift duty

Requires shop-floor presence
