About the Role

As an Engineering Manager within Tesco Media, you will lead a team of backend engineers responsible for building reliable, scalable, and high-performing software that supports retail media products and measurement capabilities. You will combine technical leadership with people management,



ensuring engineering excellence while creating an workplace where teams can thrive and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys coaching engineers, shaping technical direction, and working closely with Product, Data Science, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in growing engineering capability while ensuring the successful delivery of backend platforms and services.
- Engineering leadership across the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through deployment and operational support.
