Responsibilities
- Engage in requirements engineering by gathering and analyzing user needs and system requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to define and document functional, performance, security, and usability requirements.
- Design system architecture and components to meet defined requirements, allocating functionality across subsystems.
- Integrate hardware, software, and network components into cohesive systems and ensure smooth interoperability.
- Perform system integration testing and address compatibility or interface issues.
- Conduct verification and validation to ensure systems meet expected performance and functionality.
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify, analyze, and manage system risks, assessing impacts on performance, safety, and reliability.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
