Job Description:

Job Summary:-

The Plant Head will be responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing operations, projects for Paint Division. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring high-quality production, optimizing costs, and building a high-performance team. The ideal candidate should come with deep exposure to the paint industry and possess strong technical, operational, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities: -

Plant Operations & Production Management

- Oversee complete plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain coordination. Will be overseeing the projects also.
- Ensure production targets are met with optimal utilization of resources
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and plant performance

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and product specifications
- Maintain compliance with all statutory, environmental, and safety regulations
- Implement best practices in quality assurance and control systems

Process Optimization & Cost Management

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste minimization, and process improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor plant budgets, cost controls,



and operational KPIs

Safety & Setting

- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and standards
- Drive initiatives related to sustainability and environmental compliance

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal teams including R&D;, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on plant performance and strategic initiatives

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team across Production, QA, and Maintenance
- Build a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance
- Drive employee engagement and capability development

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Mandatory experience in the Paint Industry
- Desired experience of 15 to 25 years, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing a plant
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred)
- Strong techno-commercial understanding of paint manufacturing
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in Plant Operations, Process Optimization, Projects and quality systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- High ownership, accountability, and execution focus
